At Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW), I delivered a wide range of design work supporting organisational priorities and public engagement. The projects spanned print, digital, and event materials, with a strong focus on accessibility, bilingual communication, and consistency. The work aimed to clarify complex information while strengthening visual coherence across platforms and audiences.
HEIW required design solutions that could support strategic priorities while remaining accessible to diverse audiences. My role involved delivering visual materials across multiple formats, ensuring all outputs aligned with brand standards and supported bilingual accessibility.
I designed reports, newsletters, competency frameworks, and strategic documents, including contributions shown to Welsh Government. Alongside this, I created event collateral such as exhibition stands, banners, and posters for conferences, as well as digital assets for campaigns and webinars. Infographics, iconography, and templates were developed to simplify complex information and improve consistency across communications.
Accessibility and innovation were central to my approach. Inclusive design principles guided decisions around layout, typography, and structure, while emerging tools, including AI, were explored to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Collectively, this work strengthened HEIW’s visual presence and supported clearer, more engaging communication across the organisation.
